So very happy we have this resource in Garrett County! Our son has made great progress in reading in the six months he's been attending Sylvan. I've been especially appreciative of their willingness to be flexible with our schedule as we move in and out of sports seasons. Their summer camp offerings are also impressive and we hope to take advantage of those this year. High fives to Katelyn and Suzan for putting together such a space for our kiddos!

As a single mom/ disabled Veteran I was admittedly nervous about spending so much money on a company I knew nothing about. Sylvan's incredible group of mentors and teachers has surpassed my expectations. My son is improving and I get constant feedback, not just in the online account but in person from the people working with him. Sylvan worked to pair my son (who is very distracted and hardheaded) with a mentor that would drive him to do better. When my son was out of school for some time, the Sylvan team stepped up where the school was seriously failing. Most of all, I would have to say my son enjoys going for the two hr sessions!! What 9-year-old wants to do two more hrs of work after school? My son does on account of the people who work there!
I plan on utilizing them to educate my son beyond our current session because it is worth every penny! The interest-free payment plan is a blessing as well! Let's face it, nowadays public school is not cutting it for kids who are noncookie-cutter students and they deserve to have the best we can give them! Thank you Sylvan! You are a diamond in a world full of coal.

The teachers are amazing and so great with making the kids feel confident while they are learning! My kids always leave with smiles. I can see a major improvement in my girls since starting at Sylvan, which is all you can ask for as a mom, especially after a long 2 years of virtual and restricted learning. I really feel like they will be caught up and exactly where they need to be as they near the end of this school year. My kids will feel confident and prepared going into their next grade levels.

Our daughter was really struggling with math, and as a homeschooling mom, I needed help. I reached out to Sylvan and from the first moment, the staff has been nothing but helpful and accommodating.
