This review is for the Sherman oaks location: Amazing!!! Love the staff! They have help my child not only with reading but also with his confidence. My son has had tutoring before somewhere else and always complains about going. At sylvan he gets ready and just goes no problem. I love the fact that he doesn’t come back with “homework” because as we know it’s hard as it is with distant learning. They make sure he learns it right the first time, no need to redo. They are very organized. The fact that my son really likes it there makes it worth every penny!!!

Reading this post I made before my daughter was there more than a week makes me so angry. In the beginning, I thought this was so amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. That all changed when I wanted to cancel. I was no longer able to bring her as often as my work schedule had changed. As a single mom, I thought, "Of course they will understand." Boy, was I wrong. Communication was completely distorted. They couldn't recall any of the conversations by phone of canceled appointments. Overall, I stopped taking my daughter there. I would not recommend nor return to any sylvan, especially studio city.

Sylvan is such a great program. The program itself is excellent and very comprehensive and the tutors there are all so caring and responsive. When necessary, they go above and beyond to customize the program to a child’s learning style/ability and we’ve really enjoyed watching our child thrive.
