As a parent, I couldn't be more thrilled with our experience with Teach Them to Thrive and Tara Roepke. We reached out to Tara for help when we realized that our son was struggling in school. Our 8-year has been doing weekly sessions with Tara for about 8 months and had made such great progress in handwriting and spelling since starting to work with her. We have also seen a lot less frustration in our kid when it comes to school work and we've seen his confidence in schoolwork grow. She is kind, patient, and thorough with our child and builds rapport with the kids she works with. We truly appreciate Tara's commitment to our child's education and development and would recommend her to any family looking for a tutor.

Tara has been a wonderful reading tutor and mentor for our daughter. When our daughter started working with Tara she didn't like to read and faced challenges in learning how to read. Tara worked with her for two years and she is now a fluent reader and begs to read more before going to bed. Not only did her skill level improve but her love of reading has grown tremendously.

We found Tara and her service just a little over two years ago. What turned out as just getting some extra support during the pandemic has now blossomed into a wonderful relationship for my daughter. Tara comes with a wealth of knowledge in her field, she is highly experienced and a trained professional. Tara not only provides her tutoring services but she also supports parents in the academic process and progress of your student-which I have found very helpful as we’ve navigated Kindergarten through 2nd grade-she’s a wonderful resource. Tara is kind, respectful, engaging and sensitive to my daughter and her needs. Thanks to Tara my daughter is making consistent progress. We can’t sing her praises enough.

We started working with Teach Them To Thrive about 4 months ago because I was concerned that my 7-year old son was struggling with reading, despite his school saying he was at benchmark. Tara is super responsive and provided helpful resources to support me in understanding the types of reading curriculum and what would be helpful for my son. She sourced an excellent reading tutor (Jasmine) who has been working with my son for the past 4 months. Jasmine goes above and beyond to tailor the tutoring sessions with things that motivate my son, and I’m impressed that she is able to engage him and keep him focused for 50 minutes. She lets us borrow the tools, flash cards, and reading passages so that I can reinforce the curriculum with him throughout the week. I am very happy with my son’s progress so far. He continues to be excited about reading and is building up his confidence. In addition, both Tara and Jasmine have been an excellent resource in helping us navigate things with his school and advocate for what he needs. Teach Them to Thrive has been reliable, helpful, and offer excellent guidance. I am very pleased with our partnership thus far.

Tara is a fantastic teacher. She is kind, patient, knowledgeable and individually tailors her lessons to meet the needs of my child. We are so grateful for her!

Tara was super professional and dedicated, we could see obvious results with our 6 year old within the first few classes. Would recommend her in a heartbeat!
