I have worked with The Editorial Department for a number of years now, and for numerous projects. From the very beginning, I have experienced nothing but the most genuine support from its President/Director, Ross Browne, and the Editor/Writing Coach who has agreed to review my work, Peter Gelfan.

Each time I have contacted The Editorial Department, either for a new project or with one that is currently in progress, the response has come if not the same day, then definitely no later than the next. And the answers given were exactly what I needed, so I could move forward.

The Editorial Department does not just offer a one-time review of a manuscript. They promise follow-up opportunities as a part of the fee, done either by email or phone to the editor. I have appreciated these follow-ups, since I inevitably need to discuss more fully the insights that have come from the review. And of course, in the on-going conversation with the editor, I’ve been given an avenue for exploring new ideas for my work as a result.

A recent addition to The Editorial Department’s commitment to writers has been the production of whitepapers. At no extra cost, The Editorial Department offered the papers for the clear purpose of highlighting the essential pieces that must be accounted for in good writing, and for guiding its clients in their work. Each one has been concise, highly informative, and a great source of inspiration.

As I have continued my association with The Editorial Department, I have come to think of it as an expense that is not unlike the tuition I would pay to attend a college course, or courses, on writing and self-editing. Only, this is much more valuable, given the concentrated focus the editor has always given to my work, and the quickness and quality of the responses to any and all of my questions.

As a final word, I have to highlight the depth of concern and attention that Ross and Peter have always given to me and my writing. It has exceeded all of my expectations. And I feel that I have become a better writer as a result.

Professional service delivered with the utmost integrity. Prompt and clear communication, a very thoughtful review outlining ways in which my manuscript could be both more compelling and engaging.

I couldn't have had a better editing experience than the one I got through The Editorial Department. Peter Gelfan did a very thorough edit of my illustrated childhood memoir, "A Little Slice of Sky", and his discerning comments helped me enormously as I worked through the final re-write. I sold twenty copies at my book launch in early April, and more since then. Thank you, Editorial Department!

Great editors. They taught a novice like myself how to write. I barely made it out of high school and wasn't qualified to write a book but they provided an education despite my educational deficits. Thanks!
