Tracey Perrick is the absolute GOAT of lawyers! I had a different lawyer before coming to Tracey, and they had gotten me into a pickle, writing a contract that left holes and gaps for the other party to wiggle around (extending the court case for a whole year). Tracey's professional conduct, dedication, and attention to detail were exactly what I needed to help turn the situation around. She was able to pick up right where the other lawyer had left off, and point out to me what went wrong, what she would've done differently, and what we should do moving forward.

One of the best parts about working with her has been that she treats you with respect and dignity, and she will answer all of the questions you have. Tracey will make sure you understand what she is doing to represent you and your interests. She's never condescending, and she cares that you understand what is happening in the courts and how she is protecting you... since lawyers are expensive, you never feel at any point that she is taking advantage of you or taking an easy compromise to close out your case faster.

If it wasn't clear already, the other party's lawyer in the case was very adversarial and combative. This lead to my original lawyer asking me to take the easy route and just make a disadvantageous deal, but Tracey stood firm and told me not to let them push me around. She's not intimidated or easily pressured, she'll be YOUR LAWYER, not their punching bag. But don't worry, she'll also tell you how it is too, so if you're being stubborn, she's not there to tell you what to do, she's there to tell you what you CAN do and what you're entitled to do.

I really felt like Tracey was the support I needed to get through my divorce. She was also just really nice... and not like a robotic lawyer who's just processing the options and spitting out a generic solution. I felt alone with my first lawyer... it was a huge relief after I decided to switch. (And to be honest, I switched far too late because of the sunk cost; I thought it would be very expensive to get another lawyer up to speed with all of the details, but that wasn't true at all. Ms. Perrick is a consummate professional, and I wish I didn't wait so long!!!)

When my divorce started, I was emotional and basically picked the first lawyer I found on google. It was... challenging to do the research and try to decide who to talk to, and I just wanted it over with as soon as possible. But picking the wrong lawyer can really draw out the process - it's not worth it. Tracey's amazing. Fingers crossed I won't need her again, but if I did, I'd be a repeat customer.
