I would highly recommend The Nectar Group! Our son, 11, has struggled with math since he started school. He also struggled with keeping attention long enough to follow instructions without distraction or forgetting what he was doing. I was constantly repeating myself and we were both frustrated, especially when completing school work. I prayed a lot about what to do- should we try medicine, just keep pushing through, was there something else I didn't know. I attended a homeschool conference where the director of Nectar held many breakout sessions on cognitive function. When she was describing kids who had improved with their program, I felt like she was perfectly describing my son's struggles. I sensed this may be an answer to prayer, so I followed up after the trip. After 4 months of cognitive training, my son rarely asks me to repeat myself again, he understands and follows through with instructions the first time, he's not crying daily over math (maybe twice a month now, which I feel is just normal!), and he's more confident in his ability to process and follow through with school. I am so thankful for Nectar's help in getting him to this place- I can't believe there are actually brain activities you can do to improve its function! In addition to the improvement, Nectar employees were so helpful and on top of things. They responded promptly to my questions, were super encouraging, and also knowledgeable in explaining test results, etc. Competence, kindness, and promptness from all staff. I would spend the money all over again to help my child have an easier time in school and life! It's completely worth it, and I'm so thankful to God for answering our prayers for help through Nectar. Shout out to two of my kid's favorite coaches, Mrs. Jennifer and Mrs. Vanessa! They were so patient, loving, and fun!

When I first heard a presentation from The Nectar Group on dyslexia at a conference I received quality and helpful information and I was very encouraged. I felt confident that they would individualize a program to fit my sons exact needs and they did. The testing Nectar does before and after helped me to see exactly what my son needed, some things I already knew but some things I didn't and it was a relief to know my son would get the help his brain needed! My son LOVED his Nectar classes and coaches! He was actually sad when he finished the program! It has been about a month since we finished the program and I feel like I am homeschooling a different child! He is reading - on his own - for fun!!!! He's still got a ways to go to catch up academically to his grade level but I am confident that he is capable of doing it now. He is so much more emotionally regulated, he hasn't had a big blow up that ends work for the day since about half way through the program. He's remembering things that he was never able to remember before! I don't want to oversell, as Nectar is not a miracle company, but the work that they did allowed my son to be able to finally unlock the part of him that was always there, it just couldn't get through before! I've attached a picture of a thank you note that my son decided completely on his own to write to his coaches after his program was over. The fact that my son chose voluntarily to write anything is a small miracle in an of itself! I hope that this helps you if you are on the fence. For our family it was 100% worth the cost and I am so thankful that we used The Nectar Group!

We had a fantastic experience with the Nectar Group! The help they were able to provide our daughter (age 15) exceeded our expectations. She has been diagnosed with dyslexia and dysgraphia and struggled greatly with math, science, and retaining school work in general. I discovered The Nectar Group at a homeschool conference and was very impressed with their holistic approach to helping people with learning differences. They provided a thorough evaluation of our daughter, and recommended 6 weeks of intensive coaching. She grew leaps and bounds through the coaching. We saw improvement in her auditory processing, memory, and ability to learn math and science facts. But I'll sum up her experience in her own words: "I feel like the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz; I needed a new brain and got one!" Her confidence has grown so much. This investment was one hundred percent worth it, and my husband and I plan to have two of our sons go through coaching as well.

How grateful I am for The Nectar Group and the work they do. Our junior higher was struggling with schoolwork. She was a slow reader and couldn't remember what she read. She found it difficult to process any verbal instruction. We found Nectar at a homeschool conference and had her tested. She was struggling with auditory processing and memory, as well as decoding words. After 6 months of cognitive therapy, she's doing great! She grew in all areas, is reading whenever she can, and her attitude has improved toward life in general. The staff at the Nectar Group have been helpful, communicative, respond quickly to questions and concerns, and are professional in their work. The coaches really care about the student's progress. The online process has been very smooth as well. Our student is well prepared to begin high school this fall. Our only regret is that we didn't find them sooner!

We are extremely grateful for the services that The Nectar Group provided us. Our daughter was having significant struggles with reading and we were at a loss of what to do. Her reading skills have vastly improved taking off a lot of the stress that surrounded schoolwork. She will now ask to read to us out loud and gets excited to pick out new books.

Amazing experience! I have tried many places, other therapies. Nothing really comparable to cognitive training at Nectar. It made a huge difference on my child. This intervention made him functional. The coaches are really great, my kid loved them, and he was always looking forward to it. I would do it again for sure. Everyone is very professional and responsive. Truly a great experience.

We highly recommend the Nectar Group! I heard them speak at a convention a year ago and started the process to sign my oldest child up. They were insightful, kind, and professional throughout the entire last year from initial consultations, assessments, setting up a customized cognitive training program for my child and executing that cognitive training program for 6 months. My daughter loved doing her Nectar sessions and loved her coaches! I can't say enough how amazing this has been for our entire family as my daughter grew, matured, and improved because while of course it made a huge impact on her academic performance, it changed our relationships for the better in how we can communicate and relate to one another. I feel like we weren't speaking the same language before, and now we are, and we are forever grateful!

The best decision we could have made for our family was enrolling our son in a Nectar program. His progress was incredible. Before Nectar, my 11 year old depended on me for everything and lacked the ability to do any homeschool assignments without me sitting right beside him. During his program, focusing on professing speed, my son noticed right away that reading sheet music became easier. He read (and completed) his first (of many) chapter books and now does most of his homeschool assignments independently. We are so impressed with the transformation that are entire family has been tested by Nectar. The information the test provides is incredibly valuable. A huge thank you to Andrea and Danni and the entire team at Nectar. Your coaches are incredible. We greatly appreciate every one of you.
