Very dishonest business practice. When I first requested a quote, Lina stated that she needs to review 2020 tax documents to give accurate quote. So I sent her my 2020 tax docs to which she gave a quote of $600-$800, which is already a big range but I decided to give it a try. Lina was very inconsistent, she would give you a timeline before she gets your business, however, after you signed up with her, she would give different excuses such as having other priorities or telling you that you have to wait for your turn etc and change the timeline. What's worrisome is that she is very careless, I found several typos that I needed to correct her, who knows if she had other typos especially with numbers since I am not a tax professional. At the end after she finished tax preparation, she charged me $1190 which is after she gave 25% discount. She also charged items that I did not agree to. The huge difference in fee was a complete shock to me since my tax situation has not changed at all since 2020 and she reviewed my 2020 tax docs before giving me the lower quote. All I can think is this is a complete rip-off. I have also seen similar reviews from other customers which is very worrisome, so I had to file a complaint with CBA, hope other customers will not become her next victim. I would never recommend Lina to anyone, it will be my first and last time using her service.
