My child has completed 3 “seasons” of handwriting camp at T.OT Handwriting camp and he is signed up for his 4th this spring. It’s incredible the progress he has made. I continue to sign him up session after session though his handwriting is much improved because Jennell also teaches critical writing and analysis skills that will help him throughout his schooling.

Additionally, and perhaps more importantly, Jennell is a fantastic teacher who truly cares about the kids and shows this by creating an excellent and engaging curriculum. In fact, I have recommended her classes to many of my friends!

I cannot say enough good things about Jenell and her team. I've sent two of my kids to her camps and their handwriting has improved SO much. I love that my kids can now write not only legibly, but neatly! Moreover, Jenell truly cares about her students - my son has special needs, and she has gone above and beyond to accommodate him, incorporating his interests and preferred activities to keep his attention and help make learning fun. Highly recommended!!!! I am currently bringing both my kids (7 yo and 9 yo) to Ms. Jennell for help with their handwritings and after only TWO sessions, I already see a huge difference, especially in my older child!!! Ms. Jennell is great with kids, she’s kind and friendly but firm so the kids don’t get all crazy in class.

I was surprised to see that besides working on handwriting, she also works with kids on reading articles and teach them on how and what to highlight in the passage so that information can be reviewed in an efficient manner. It’s a wonderful skill for kids to have and I was pleasantly surprised that they’re learning that with her.

Ms. Jennell is also very respectful and asks for parents permissions before class to ensure that the kids can read articles on certain topics, I really appreciate her thoughtfulness. In addition, she not only teaches handwriting but she assesses each child individually and recommends tools (if needed) for the child to use based on their individual needs.

Another parent gave us a referral to TOT Fine Motor Camp for my 5 year old son to help him with pencil grip. Upon reading about this special unique OT place, we booked for our older daughter too. Jennell is amazing, she assessed our kids and were spot on with everything. She keeps them motivated during the sessions. She keeps the parents informed every session. We are finishing up our first camp sign-ups and already seen huge improvements in both kids. We cannot thank her and her staff enough!! We are excited to see more progress at future sessions.

I had been searching for a course my daughter could take to improve her handwriting and pencil grip. The closest I ever got was on Outschool but I really wanted an in person class. Once I found TOT Camp- I knew I had found what I was looking for! JENNELL is so patient and kind. She makes the classes engaging and fun for the kids. My daughter loves going and I’m so proud of her progress. It’s in a very convenient location with easy parking. My daughter just finished her first course and is looking forward to the summer class and future classes. Thanks TOT camp for all that you do!

My 5 year old is part of the summer camp and has been enjoying each week. Last week they learned about sharks and this week they've been talking about dinosaurs (as a parent, I've been learning too!) Ms. Jennell's daily updates with pictures taken from their day, and "dinner inspired conversations" have been my favorite to view. My daughter has been so proud of the work she's been bringing home. Through her journal writing, I've been so impressed to see her improvements. In addition to targeting her fine and gross motor skills, Ms. Jennell has also incorporated a daily social-emotional lesson. My daughter has come home reciting the chants that have helped her deescalate when she's feeling angry. I would sign my daughter up again next summer!

Ms. Jennel has been very helpful in improve my son's writing skills. My little one started from writing 0 letters to beginning sentence writing within the span of half a year. Ms. Jennel has the experience and patience with kids who need extra supports. She would give out small fridge toys as reward for good classroo beahvior which is a very good strategy to keep my son motivated. Great program!
