They sent me a different childs yearbook. All of the custom pictures are of a different little girl. I will change my review if and when they fix this mistake.
*update*. Treering did offer to print and send a new yearbook. However by the time they made this offer I found the person who got mine and we traded. Good on them for offering to make it right but communication was definitely lacking.

My school uses treering for yearbooks. If I could go through a different company I would. I get marketing emails from them multiple times a week even though I have opted out of marketing and hit that unsubscribe button many times.

Don’t give them your business or email address unless you’re ready to get a ton of spam.

RIPOFF ALERT

Why are these yearbooks $20 each and where are the kickbacks going? I’m supposed to supply the photos? I’m supposed to fill out additional pages with my own photos? I spent hours filling out pages of my kids pictures and likes and it was not the free 2 pages they offered — it was more like 5 or 10. Then I had to pay extra. I decided not to do it this year. I bought the yearbooks, still, but it’s not worth it. Next year I’m saving all school pics to a Google folder and will print my own “yearbook”. It will be more personal. This is elementary school. Give me a break. Every time I turn around the school is asking for more money and these yearbooks are included in the grift. I’m tired of it.

Brilliant software, easy drag and drop. Lots of free templates for design, and the option to mix the order with hard cover and soft cover. What's not to love - plus each student gets their own custom pages!

Received 2 yearbooks for my kids, both of them were terribly manufactured. All of the pages fell out of the binding after opening the book for the first time.

When I think of yearbook companies, I think of actual photographs of class pictures, not just collected pictures that they put together and printed. I could have saved the $20 and went to my kids school at lunch time and got more memorable photos.

Absolute Garbage, Order was placed on 5/19 we paid extra money for expedited shipping, were told we would get them in 4 days, today is day 5 and we still have not received my children's yearbooks and we get the runaround every time we call, had they been honest from the beginning about us not receiving them before the end of the school year we would no have ordered them. Customer service is a joke.

As the co-founder of a printing company in Ohio, and a first-year Yearbook Adviser last year, I had three main requirements in a publishing company:

1) High Quality Printing
2) A willingness to provide a per unit pricing
3) Great production support

Don't let their yearbook "sample," a short introductory marketing book, scare you off. TreeRing's yearbooks are phenomenal. We recently wrapped up production on our 2016 book and the print quality, and construction were terrific.

Other more "well-established" (that's code for antiquated) companies (*cough* Herff Jones *cough*) get skiddish when you ask to know the unit cost for their books. They must hate when schools price them at a profit instead of a loss, because most will downright refuse to provide that info. TreeRing hands out their pricing freely, and makes it simple to set a price that will make your organization money. They even handle all of the sales, so your school won't be out any cash! Try getting old-school publishers to do that for you; hint, they won't.

One of the ways TreeRing saves you money is by cutting out the middleman. You won't be assign an annoying sales-rep, or get bombarded by emails. Instead you'll have access to convenient email, forum, and live chat support. I was nervous at first, but the TreeRing team has always been eager to help me find solutions or guide me to the answers I needed.

Thank you for being a breath of fresh air TreeRing!
