My girlfriend and I happened upon the store and stopped in to brows, we were there to buy a book for each other as a late Christmas gift. While browsing, I was unable to locate any books of the genre I was shopping for. I asked the employee at the desk for assistance and was quickly shown a few choices on what appeared to be a random set of shelves. When I asked if this was the section for the desired genre, I was informed that the entire store is arranged in alphabetical order of author name. This made it impossible to find books of any genre unless you are familiar with author names. The employee took a personal call at one point and commented that they were "stuck" in the store because there were customers. This made me very upset as without customers, your business fails! Overall, the staff was rude and generally unhelpful, I would give 0 stars if that were an option.

Daughter enjoys this little place across the street. Easy for her to pop over and grab a book or too. The new shop is very nice. I like the wallets and other books swag they offer, super cute.

Can't rate the store itself as I've never been. I've arrived 4 different times and the door is locked. The sign on the door says, "Open Tues-Sat," but no hours. What's on Google is incorrect (or at the very least inconsistent). No one ever answers the phone either! Disappointing because I love books and would like to support local business 😐

Update: it's been a few years and I've since given this place another chance. The hours have been much more consistent. I appreciate that they pretty much have everything set at 1 price (in the main room), and then rare or specialty books are priced accordingly. They have fun stickers and handmade items/art. Haven't tried any of the coffees yet. All in all, a solid little book store.

This is a charming little book store for everyone. We came away with books for ourselves and beautiful handmade necklaces the owners daughter cleverly made. You certainly won't find a bookstore like this in the big cities. I love our small town and Red Bluff is very lucky to have you. Thank you.

Looking forward to poetry reading nights coming back. Definitely a hidden gem tbh. I love it and look forward to buying many books in the future.

Been meaning to stop by for a while and my schedule finally allowed it. This is a wonderful store with with a friendly operator, and a great assortment of books in various genres at reasonable prices. It is up a flight of stairs, but if you get the chance to stop in, it's definitely worth the exercise.

Lots of great books, new and used. She also has toys, puzzles, etc. She has a coffee bar there too! This is a must see store on Main Street.

Came in and looked around for a little bit then I ask about the book one of us is next to see if they have it and she looked in the kids section and then I told her it’s not a kids book and then she looked at me and said I don’t have it also it smells bad in there and there’s like no books I don’t recommend
