Love this book shop! They have an amazing selection of both used books and new. I couldn't decide what to get so I ended up getting everything. The staff are so kind, and have wonderful recommendations! They will also take special orders, AND you can trade in books for store value! Definitely my new go to bookshop in town.

Visiting Two Birds Books was such a joy! It is a mighty but small bookstore with a great selection of books. I appreciated that there were used book options too and enjoyed all the local gift options as well. Gary was very nice and even helped us find a spot for dinner. Whenever I’m back in Santa Cruz, I’ll definitely visit this book store again!

I always love stopping at Two Birds Books when I’m in the area! We love the kids corner and my daughter could honestly spend hours there reading and exploring the collection. I can always get fun keepsakes or gifts, and books for myself! Gary and Denise are the friendliest shop owners, extremely knowledgeable, and so so helpful.

Love this new and used bookshop! All the latest releases and book merchandise plus a wonderful selection of used books shelved with the new but designated with a little bird sticker on the spine.

Absolutely loved this local bookstore! They had a really great selection of new releases as well really high quality ( and reasonably priced) used books. My kids also loved the kid section. Definitely recommend!!

One of the most charming, cozy bookstores I’ve ever been to: Of the numerous bookstores I’ve been to, this underrated gem just stands out from the rest. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming! The place on the other hand, greets you with the warmth of relaxing jazz that lingers in the background, as well as homey smell of fresh books. The entire place is tied together so beautifully, is super organized, and is easy to navigate around. My first visit and definitely plan on coming again soon :)
