I too had an abysmal experience with this publisher. I paid upfront, being told I could use my own illustrator and then being told I had to use their’s. Mine was well known and a once in a lifetime opportunity. I tried to cancel my contract and never could get the right person on the phone. I never got my money back.

Fast forward a few years and though they were the only one who knew the name of my book, I began to be pestered ( hounded) by calls from fake companies wanting to promote it? I had not published it. The only source would be West Bow. They must have sold my information. ( including private email and phone)

Everyone I spoke to at Westbow Press was courteous, helpful, and professional. They led me by the hand, as it were, from the process of submitting a manuscript all the way through publishing. I have been very pleased.

I am very concern that Westbow publishing published my book and I still get several calls (5-10) a week about my book. Even a company that want to buy it for movie rights. But Wesbow have not sent me any royalties at all in 4 years ? But Amazon has record of continual sales of my book that Westbow has distributed What's happening here, am I being robbed by this company that pretended to be a partner This is not about the quality of the publishing, but rather the distribution of royalties. Be careful y'all

The vision I had in my head about how to write and publish a biography turned out to be false. It was an experience to remember especially for a first-timer with no former training. I did not know where to start so I thought I would go back as far as I could remember and put it all down on paper. I thank God for sending me to Westbow Press to answer all my questions. They talked, walked, and guided me through the many changes I had to make, which took time and effort. The finished product shows the professionalism I had on my side. The experts at Westbow Press & Zondervan took my work and made it a masterpiece. I am so impressed with their expertise and grateful for the time they took to make my dream come true.

My book was published by Wesbow press many years ago and I have not gotten over how cheated I felt during this experience. The book was so overpriced that I felt embarrassed to sell at full price. When I spoke to them about it they basically said it was my fault because my book was in color and had over 100 pages. Noone deserves to be treated this way. I do not recommend Westbow Press to anyone.

The initial person that set up the contract and outlined the process of publishing my book was friendly and helpful. The efficiency of the process went downhill quickly after he turned it over to the rest of the team. A lack of communication and follow-through during the publishing process was frustrating. They aren't interested in feedback and definitely don't want to use any constructive criticism to improve their company. I have personally contacted the company twice in an effort to provide feedback and I have yet to get a response. They aren't interested in communicating with their customers or just aren't capable of communicating with their customers.

I was very un happy i didn't get what half of what i was told, so they lied to me, after three years i sold the books, westbow didn't sell any books as far as i know and i am looking to start all over with another publisher, it really sucks.
