Yearsley did a wonderful job working with all three of our children on both SAT prep and the college admission process with particularly clear and helpful insights into the college essay. He is able to assess each child's individual strengths and areas needing improvement. He patiently holds each child to a high level of ownership of the process and they consistently improve under his guide. He is well versed in all parts of the SAT and college admissions process and has so much to offer each child. He connects with each child while being in communication with the parent. He has great advice to offer and is an absolute pro in his field.

Yearsley is the absolute best tutor our daughter has ever had and the only tutor that really understood what was special and unique about her. We hired Yearsley for SAT tutoring and continued with the college essay. He was instrumental in pushing our daughter for the best SAT for HER, not the best overall, but, what suited her and the same with her college essay. I cannot speak highly enough about Yearsley's level of integrity, sincerity and passion.

We had a great experience working with Chris. He helped my daughter focus on areas where she needed improvement and successfully got her SAT score up to where she wanted it. Yearlsey was recommended to us by a friend and we also highly recommend. Our daughter really enjoyed working with him (and she was not thrilled about doing SAT prep to begin with). The scheduling of sessions was easy and flexible, and he challenged our daughter in a supportive way to do her very best.

Chris tutored my daughter for the SAT and helped her improve her scores tremendously! Yearsley came highly recommended to us and we in turn also highly recommend him! He is definitely worth the monetary investment and the time that is needed to fully benefit from his knowledge and teaching approach to standardized testing. We hired him for our daughter in her junior year of high school to prepare for the SAT and took advantage of his one-on-one instruction. He was very helpful in deciding whether she should take the ACT and/or the SAT. He took the time to evaluate her strengths and weaknesses to determine that she should concentrate her efforts on the SAT and came up with an individualized plan tailored to our daughter. He challenged her in a variety of ways, gave her many practice tests, and offered practical learning tools to assist her. She is very active in sports and had some time constraints. Yearsley was very flexible when conflicts arose in her schedule and offered a wide range of times for them to meet. We will also be using his services for our youngest daughter this coming summer!

Yearsley came highly recommended to us for private school test prep . Our previous experience with another teacher was not good. My son found him to be patient, understanding, gave great strategies and really helped with his confidence. My son was able to bring up his scores considerably.
