Five stars aren’t enough for Denis Caron. This was my first go at Indie publishing and I suspected that I might need a bit more than just a marketing plan/strategy. After our first meeting, it was clear that Denis was not only an expert in the field -– he knows Indie publishing, understands the entire process as well as the best marketing tools -- but he was also a good listener with a great sense of humor. He provides one-on-one video sessions where we talk about whatever is going on in the process. In addition to the individual sessions, he provides a shared tool based on goals we set in the session, that gives timelines and action items along with supporting links to help keep me on track. Additionally, he has a ton of videos available for reference, and he responds to emails with helpful information and often provides links for further research or assistance. He’s also very calm and reassuring. I didn’t know that would be an important trait for a marketing coach, but it turned out to be.
